Degree Completion
The official requirements and petition process for graduation is maintained by the Graduate School. The following links will take you to the checklist for completion of the Master's and Doctoral degrees, respectively:
Further, an overall quarter-by-quarter timeline of Graduate School requirements and their general deadlines for completion of the Doctoral program can be found here on the Ph.D. Timeline page. It is important to note that, aside from officially granted medical leave, there are no circumstances under which the 36 quarter (9 year) completion deadline can be shifted once a student has matriculated.
